Description:

Robert J Defendi has worked on many projects. We was one of the writers for Savage Seas for the game Exalted. He's done a good bit of work for Spycraft, Shadowforce Archer and the Stargate SG-1 roleplaying game. He's also done fiction for Writers of the Future and When Darkness Comes, as well as Spacemaster (and the game's current incarnation.)

Robert J Defendi was born in Dubuque, IA to parents who, frankly, should have known better. After a bleak, early period, punctuated by too much bad science fiction produced by Walt Disney, he began to read such greats as Tolkien, Niven, Clark, Asimov and Clavell. He's been influenced by dozens of writers, from Tom Clancy to Barbara Hambly. He studies bad fiction as well as good in every medium but poetry (with which he is abysmally bad). He feels that writing is a constant process, continuing through every aspect of one's life, and that the time spent at the keyboard is only a small part of the process.
