Description:

Shane has been working as a freelance illustrator for the RPG and CCG industry for the past 12 years. Originally studied in traditional mediums has led to his understanding and easy adaptation into the digital realm of painting within the past 3 years. He works exclusively in Painter for all his mediums, his specialties being Pen & Ink and Oil techniques.

Shane does have more to say about his process etc... but feels this has been more than covered by other illustrators on the Internet and in books, and that his paintings and illustrations should speak for themselves.

Some of his influences include but are not limited to: Michael Whelan, Roger Dean, Rodney Mathews, Caravagio, John Byrne, Craig Mullins, Dusso, Feng Zhu, Joseph Shepard, Brom, Alan Pollack, Hildebrandt Bros, Kaluta, the list goes on ....
