| Idavoll is one of many pbp role-play sites out there on the net. However, it is different from the majority in many regards. Idavoll is based on the legends of Norse Mythology, everything from Asgard to Yggdrasil. However, there is one major difference. Idavoll is set over 1000 years AFTER Ragnarok. What does that mean? It means that many of the gods are dead, the world has changed drastically, and many of the realms have changed. Not to mention the gods have their own problems to deal with. Freyja has revolted, and succeeded in that revolt, and as such has the true power in Asgard. Baldr, Nanna, and Frigg seemed doomed… Not so fast! They have returned due to a pact Frigg made with Nidhogg, and now they want revenge. Midgard remains as dutiful as ever, and the world is constantly changing… What also sets us apart from many other sites is we’re not afraid to have quests people run affect the entire realm. Want to start a giant war that threatens to tear the world apart? Go ahead as long as you can support it actually happening.
