SUPERHEROIC ADVENTURE!
Champions Battlegrounds is a collection of five adventures for Champions, each focusing on a particular location that you can use repeatedly in your campaign. You can run the scenarios individually, or as part of a single story arc.
Do your heroes have what it takes to survive:
* -A Walk In The Park, in which several villains lure them to a peaceful park for a confrontation with a sinister purpose
* Let's Go To The Maul, when a day of peaceful shopping turns into an encounter with the lunatic supervillain Foxbat
* Fatal Attractions, in which the murderous Black Harlequin turns a superhero-themed amusement park into a deathtrap-filled killing ground
* Under Construction, a half-finished skyscraper that becomes the focus of conflict between the powerful mutant supervillain Holocaust and the mutant-hating Institute for Human Advancement
* Down In The Hole, in which a fiendish new supervillain reveals his involvement in all the above adventures and puts the heroes to their hardest challenge yet!
No matter how powerful your heroes, Champions Battlegrounds has challenges galore for them!

Spotlight on: John Ling, writer for Sidetrek Adventure Weekly 2

Anonymous writes "John Ling broke into the freelance RPG design field in April, 2005, with his article in Dragon magazine entitled "Sorcerers are Special...ists Too." Since then, John has had a total of thirteen articles appear in Dragon, including eleven in the Class Acts section. John has also done work for Sword and Sorcery Studios on their World of Warcraft RPG line. John lives in the Philadelphia suburbs with his wife, two children, two cats, dog, and a tank of fish. He works as a computer programmer for the world's largest generic drug manufacturer. John was kind enough to speak to us to answer some interesting question about their involvement with the upcoming Louis Porter Jr. Design project.
1) How did you get into writing for RPG
Amber (E. Scott) dared me, basically. GenCon '04 we went to the "Writing for Dragon" seminar together. She had seen some of my creations, and insisted I should send them in.
2) What drew you to work on Sidetrek Adventure Weekly?
I was interested in SAW1, but didn't have the time available to work on a full episode. When SAW2 came up, with its zombie theme, I jumped at it. "

Anonymous writes "UK gamers (or indeed anyone willing to make the trip) are invited to join Wizards of the Coast, the UK D&D team, and Leisure Games in celebrating the UK launch of Dungeons & Dragons 4th Edition at The London Dungeon. The event takes place the evening of Friday, 6 June in central London.
Tied in to Worldwide D&D Game Day, which takes place the following day, the UK launch party will feature 4E play in the form of the WWDDGD adventure, along with D&D miniatures, Three-Dragon Ante, and Inn-Fighting. In addition, we?ll have snacks, drinks, and a load of dungeony goodness. Best of all, we?ll be joined by the UK WotC and D&D staff, along with lead 4E designer Rob Heinsoo, who?s coming all the way from Renton, Washington in the US. Rob will be available to answer questions, share a few secrets and sneak peeks, maybe run a couple encounters, and generally hang out.
Last year, Leisure Games and WotC hosted a WWDDGD event at The London Dungeon, and it was a real blast. With the unveiling of 4E, we?re looking forward to this year?s event being even more fun.
Festivities kick off at 7:00 PM and run until midnight Friday, 6 June. The London Dungeon is at 28 Tooley Street, SE1 2SZ, adjacent to the London Bridge tube station.
Admission is free, but there is a limit to the number of people we can accept so you must sign up in advance. To sign up, contact Leisure Games at 020 8346 2327 or mike@leisuregames.com. "

Blackdyrge's Templates: Greater Half-Dragon

[D20 System]

Isn?t it odd that a dragon barely old enough to breed and a rampaging great wyrm produce the exact same half-dragon? As dragons get older, they get tougher, and so should their half-dragon spawn. Blackdirge Publishing offers a solution to this problem with Blackdyrge?s Templates: Greater Half-Dragon.
Greater half-dragons are the progeny of powerful dragons of age category ancient and older. Due to their great power and magical nature, these mighty wyrms are able to pass on more of their draconic traits to their half-dragon children. The resulting greater half-dragon is a potent hybrid that can easily rival true dragons in strength, ferocity, and power.
So give the half-dragons in your campaign an upgrade, with Blackdirge Publishing and Blackdyrge?s Templates: Greater Half-Dragon.

Book of Experimental Might II: Bloody, Bold, and Resolute
A 64-page combat sourcebook for all levels
It?s back -- and more experimental than ever! This book exists because readers loved The Book of Experimental Might and demanded new options for nonspellcasting classes. In response, Monte shares more creative rules from his own campaign. Here you?ll find . . .
? New rules for fighting domains: areas of specialization like Two-Weapon Fighting, Mounted Combat, and Fighting Dirty, as well as techniques based on agility, speed, strength, and intellect. The 15 domains provide new abilities to fighter types willing to devote themselves to a focused path.
? A retooling of the feat system, with three new concepts -- double feats, oblation feats, and uberfeats -- and dozens of new choices.
? Special benefits for choosing a feat as a fighter bonus feat, reinstating the fighter class as the king of feats.
? Optional rules including more combat choices, a method for ?boosting? feats for extra benefits, new uses for the Grace/Health system introduced in the first Book of Experimental Might, and more.
Like its predecessor, Book of Experimental Might II keeps your characters adventuring longer, enhances existing classes for greater playability, and expands your game options to add to the fun. Continue the experiment!
